Level 5 diplomas in Law
Four law programmes, a Diploma and an Extended Diploma from each body. They are Ofqual-regulated academic qualifications pitched at year two of a law degree. They are not a qualifying law degree, do not lead directly to the SQE or to a training contract, and we say so on every law page. Where they earn their place is as a structured route to a final-year top-up or to a Level 6 law diploma for people who cannot or do not want to spend three years on campus.

A Level 4 qualification in a related subject points to a Diploma; a Level 3 qualification points to an Extended Diploma. This decides more than anything else on the page.

Then check the hours
