About level5diploma.org

Two different organisations stand behind this site, and it matters that you can tell them apart. A consultancy publishes it and answers your questions. A separate institution, London School of Planning and Management, teaches and assesses every programme listed. This page introduces both and explains how the relationship works, including how we are paid.

Who publishes this site

level5diploma.org is published by LearnLoom Consultants. We act as an independent recruitment agent for London School of Planning and Management (LSPM). That means we explain LSPM's Level 5 programmes, help you decide between a Diploma and an Extended Diploma, answer your enquiries, and, if you want to go ahead, introduce you to LSPM's admissions team. We are based in Hong Kong; LSPM, and the programmes themselves, are in London.

The person responsible for the content of this site and for answering enquiries is Education adviser, LearnLoom Consultants, Education adviser, LearnLoom Consultants.

How we are paid. LSPM pays us a fee when a learner we introduce enrols. You pay nothing extra for using this site or for our advice: the fees you pay are LSPM's published fees, set by LSPM, and they are the same whether you come through us or apply to LSPM directly. Because of that fee, every link from this site to LSPM is marked as a commercial link.

What we do not do. We do not teach, mark or assess. We do not decide who is admitted. We do not register learners with OTHM or Qualifi, issue certificates, or set fees, durations or intake dates. Anything on this site about those matters describes LSPM's process as we understand it from advising applicants, and LSPM's own answer is the one that counts.

Other sites we publish. LearnLoom Consultants also publishes level4diploma.org, level6diploma.org, level7diploma.org and level8diploma.org, each covering a different qualification level. They are separate guides with their own content, but the same consultancy and the same LSPM relationship stand behind all of them.

Who delivers the programmes

London School of Planning and Management is the OTHM and Qualifi approved centre for all 56 programmes listed here. An approved centre is an institution the awarding body has inspected and authorised to deliver its qualifications. In practice that means LSPM admits learners against the awarding body's criteria, registers them with OTHM or Qualifi, teaches the units, sets and marks the assignments, arranges internal verification, and presents the marked work to the awarding body's external verifier. The awarding body, not LSPM and not us, issues the certificate.

Your application, your enrolment agreement and your contract for the course are all with LSPM, under LSPM's terms. Fees are paid to LSPM. Complaints about teaching, assessment or admissions go to LSPM under its own procedure, then to the awarding body if unresolved; our complaints page explains the two routes.

Both awarding bodies let you check a centre's approval status directly; the awarding bodies page tells you how.

How the pages are made

Facts: fetched from the source

Qualification titles, Ofqual numbers, credit values, hours, unit lists and entry criteria are pulled from each awarding body's published specification into a data file (last generated 30 September 2026). Nobody retypes them. Where the source omits a value the page shows a gap.

Register links on every page

Each Ofqual number links to the live register so you can confirm the awarding organisation, level and credit value yourself, and each page links the specification document.

Commentary: ours, and labelled

Who a programme suits, what to weigh between a Diploma and an Extended Diploma, and how LSPM's admissions and progression tend to work in practice are our advisers' observations from working with applicants. Where we describe LSPM's teaching we say so and tell you to confirm with LSPM. Pages without commentary are marked "facts only".

Review cycle. The data file is regenerated and the commentary re-read each term; the footer label (Reviewed September 2026) is the date of the last review. Fees, durations and intake dates are LSPM's and appear only once LSPM confirms them.

What we will not do

  • Describe ourselves as a college, school, centre or awarding body, or let a page imply that we deliver the teaching.
  • Quote statistics we cannot source: no completion rates, salary figures or learner counts.
  • Name partner universities without a written progression agreement, or imply that final-year entry is guaranteed.
  • Publish testimonials that are not real, consented and dated.
  • Invent fees, durations or intake dates; until LSPM sets them, the pages say "to be confirmed".
  • Show every awarding-body fact, including the awkward ones (missing credits, unlabelled unit levels).
  • Say plainly what a Level 5 diploma is not: not a degree, not a professional licence, not UCAS-pointed.
  • Mark every link to LSPM as commercial, and repeat the agent disclosure in the footer of every page.
  • Reply to enquiries ourselves within two working days, and hand you to LSPM only when you ask us to.

Not sure which credit value you need?

Tell us your highest qualification and we will say which of the 120-credit Diploma and the 240-credit Extended Diploma LSPM's entry criteria open to you, and how to start the application.
