OTHM's Level 5 project management diploma covers the mechanics you would expect (Operations Management in Projects; Project Quality Management; Project Planning, Execution and Evaluation) and three units you might not: Business Strategy and Sustainability, Responsible Business Practices and Digital Business Practices. The result, regulated under 610/1781/4 and sized at 120 credits with 1,200 total and 600 guided hours, positions project management inside strategy and ethics rather than treating it as a set of tools.
The choice matters for who it suits. A learner who wants a methodology certification, or who needs to know one particular framework for an employer, will find this programme broader and slower than a short course. A learner who is, or will be, accountable for projects in an organisation that has to justify them to boards, regulators and communities will find the sustainability and responsible-practice units the most useful part.
One gap to be aware of: OTHM's web listing for this programme does not carry entry requirements, so the entry section on this page has our own note rather than the awarding body's bullets. The specification states them, and our note reflects it.
